I’m a highly skilled, award-winning Creative Director with over fifteen years of experience under my belt and a flair for producing the extraordinary.
Today’s consumer is exposed to millions of messages, promises, and statements from every Tom, Dick and Harry selling something. They’re just waiting to be engaged in a creative and unexpected way, and that’s were I come in.
Simply put…I’m your unfair advantage for the creative stuff.
I have a lot of experience working in marketing & advertising, graphic design, packaging and nearly all facets of rich media experiences for some of the world’s most recognized brands. I have a background in team management with a proven ability to motivate and inspire creative teams to deliver superb creative work under tight deadlines.
I have endless ideas with the goal to create experiences that will not easily be forgotten. My background includes experience in industries like Travel & Hospitality, Health & Beauty, Big Tech and most recently the Medical & Recreational Cannabis space. I always think about the whole picture when approaching a new design and I create a strategic campaign focused on delivering the right marketing message.
“Design isn’t just how it looks and feels, design is how it works. Form follows function.”
I’m passionate about turning the uninspired into the enthralled. About making passive, jaded, uninterested people totally engrossed in an experience. About turning a stranger into a customer.
How do I do that?
By engaging people with a strategy in creative and unexpected ways. By building community around brand principles, and by encouraging customers to play, share and remix elements of your message until they become advocates for your brand instead of observers of your advertising.
Creative Direction – Define the creative vision, ensure a cohesive look and feel, establish budgets & timelines, lead the creative team and meet the deadlines!
Marketing Strategy – A good marketing strategy helps companies identify their best customers. It also helps them understand consumers’ needs. With a good strategy, it is possible to implement the most effective marketing methods.
Branding & Identity – Branding is the foundation of your brand, and Identity is the visual execution of your brand strategy.
Digital Marketing – Digital marketing is a form of marketing for promoting and selling products or services on the Internet. It’s the process of leveraging different online marketing channels like search engines, social media networks, and email to reach your target audience.
Website Design – Web design is a Web development process for creating a website that focuses on aesthetic factors like layout, user interface and other visual imagery in order to make the website more visually appealing and engaging.
Package Design – Packaging design is the connection of form, structure, materials, color, imagery, typography, and regulatory information with ancillary design elements to make a product suitable for marketing. Its primary objective is to create a vehicle that serves to contain, protect, transport, dispense, store, identify, and distinguish a product in the marketplace. Ultimately, the goal of a packaging design is to meet marketing objectives by distinctively communicating a consumer product’s personality or function and generating a sale.
Copywriting – A copywriter creates clear, compelling copy to sell products and/or educate and engage consumers, flexing persuasive writing muscle on websites, blog posts, product descriptions, email blasts, banner advertising, newsletters, white papers, PSAs, social media platforms, including Twitter and Instagram, and other marketing communication vehicles.
I even wrote and performed standup comedy for years.
Adobe Creative Suite – I have years of experience with this group of products. I would consider myself an expert with most of the programs in this suite.
WordPress – I’ve been working with WordPress to develop websites for over 10 years now. It’s my goto for web development when flexibility is a must.
Coding – HTML, CSS and a good amount of Java script. Not that they’re needed as much today with visual designers like Elementor.
Google Suite – It seems like I live inside my Google Drive utilizing all of the great products.
Microsoft Office – Although I find myself using Google Sheets more than Excel, I have a strong familiarity with the suite of products, including PowerPoint.
Ableton Audio – When it comes to music production and performance, this software rocks! If you like Synthwave, check out my music here.
Project Management – I’ve used a lot of project management tools like Atlassian, Slack and Basecamp in order to keep projects moving along nicely.
